Welcome to my homepage. I was born in 1965 and have lived all my life in Tromsø.

Dogs came into my life in 1980 - A Great Dane named Only you

- she became Int. Swe. champion and became Best in show 3 times...

Ever since that , dogs, grooming and showing dogs has been a major part of my life.

I have 2 children - twin boys named Phillip and Patrick who were born in 1994,

and together with them we have the pleasure of living at the best place on earth Tromsø

with the midnightsun, mountains,fjords and the fantastic northern light. Both boys have grown up around dogs and though

they are twins they are two completely individual boys but the love of the dogs that they have in common.

Phillip`s main interests is basket ball, downhill skiing,games and computers but he takes his turn in working out with the dogs.

Patrick`s main interests are juniorhandling, horses and web design.

My occupation is sosial-worker, working with people that have problems with drugabuse.

Currently we have 3 dogs at home, the Kerrys - Valera's On top"o"the world "Petter" and Geijes Bridge The Gap "Tine",

and the mascot miniature dachshund - Comme Si Comme Ca "Hilcka".

During the years I also have been interested in teaching others my skills of showing and grooming. Severeal girls have been tranied by me,

and they have competed in Juniorhandling with splendid results. All 3 of them have been finalists at the national finals. Marita Øvergård

won the competition in 2001, and was Norway's repr at Crufts 2002. In the Norw. folk costume she made comments on the BBC with her

Kerry Blue Terrier!! And in 2006 we did it again!! Benedikte the latest of the girls won both the

Norwegian and the Nordic competition in juniorhandling at the Nordic winner show 2006.

Lucky me sorrounded by these outstanding and clever girls.

2006 is the beginning of my latest juniorhandler, my son Patrick. Only time will tell if he will if he will make it, And so he did!!

Patrick became national champion of juniorhandling 2009 and will represent Norway on Crufts .

and that is what makes working with juniorhandlers so interesting.
